Fishing
Biscayne Bay with Richard Kernish, the day was tough but we did find a few fish and got a couple of shots. Richard hooked
up and got a good run out of one bonefish, but after no less than a 50 yard run he was cut off. The best event of the day
was that all the fish had some size to them.

Had a multi boat charter out of Key Biscayne and went looking for bonefish. Had
to run south, not as far as I would have liked but only had 3 hrs to fish! We did find a couple of bonefish
but could not get them to eat and the sharks wouldn’t eat either. We caught some snapper and
a grunt in the channels and hooked two fish that were pulling line and lost them before we could identify them.

Fishing South Biscayne Bay with
the wind blowing 20 knots! Went with Richard Kernish for the UM Bonefish Census. We
spent 5 hours on the water and found over a 100 bonefish even with very little light. Even with all
the wind Richard landed a 4 pound bonefish. It looks like the fish are starting to group into big schools.

Fishing in Biscayne Bay with Steve Shaprio and his son Kevin from Palm Beach. Cloud
cover and rain in the morning and don’t forget the wind, lots of wind, but it did not stop the bonefish from showing
up. Steve hooked a bone in the morning and boated a 3 # bonefish; then later in the day we got a double hook up and Kevin’s
fish pulled the hook, but Steve boated a 3.5 # bonefish. We then found a number of bonefish and a permit
in the last spot we hit and Steve had a nice fish cut him off. For a day with a 20 knot plus wind it was
a great day with a good number of bonefish.
The
leading edge of a front can kick up some wind but the fish (and fishermen) really like the cooler weather!
